A creative soul who brings blank canvas alive with color and texture.
Born and raised in Montana, nature has always had a way of influencing my art.
Early success in the business world required a balance between the roles of executive and artist for many years. Retirement and a permanent move to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington has now freed the artist within me.
And so, the next chapter begins and WILDEN Studios comes to life.
"Art is what we call the thing an artist does. It's not the medium or the oil or the price or whether it hangs on a wall or you eat it. What matters, what makes it art, is that the person who made it overcame the resistance, ignored the voice of doubt and made something worth making. Something risky. Something human. Art is not in the eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist." Seth Godin

Artist - D.
Each piece is personal and usually an output of pure, "in-the-moment" emotion. I never start a piece with an end in mind, so my art becomes layers of creative expression with no connected meaning. That is until I hit a turning point when the meaning reveals itself and the piece is titled. D.
